Über schnittchen – est. 2003
Seit 2003 machen wir Schnittmuster für (junge) kreative und modebewußte Frauen und verkaufen diese über einen Online-Shop. Anfangs nur als Druckware, dann relativ schnell auch als PDF für den Ausdruck am eigenen Drucker.
Im Fokus standen schon immer möglichst unkomplizierte, bequeme aber modische, zeitlose Styles und der Glaube an ein wunderbares, nachhaltiges Hobby. Diese Vision begleitet uns auch heute noch – 20 Jahre später.
Mehr noch: beim Selbernähen kommt man ins Tun und Fühlen, richtet den Blick auf etwas Reales – auf ein Stück Stoff, auf das eigene Werken. Man hat es in der Hand, die Wahl des Schnitts, die Qualität und Farbe des Stoffs, die Zeit, die investiert werden muss, das Garn, die Accessoires. Ein Teil findet zum anderen und man schafft aus etwas zweidimensionalen etwas dreidimensionales, ein selbst gemachtes Unikat, das einen im Idealfall lange begleitet, kleidet und schmückt.

Selbernähen –
ist einfach schön!
— Die schönsten Sachen sind selbstgemacht – das trifft nicht nur zu, wenn das jemand über das gebastelte Geschenk eines Kindes sagt. Auch selbstgenähte Kleider, Parkas oder Shorts sind wunderschön. Und das coole Gefühl, mit den eigenen Händen und der eigenen Kreativität geschaffenes Kleidungsstück zu tragen, ist – unbezahlbar!
Damit deine künftigen Lieblingsteile nicht nur einfach schön, sondern auch schön einfach zu nähen sind, haben wir auf möglichst unkomplizierte Schnitte und ausführliche Nähanleitungen geachtet. Zudem gibt es unsere Schnittmuster in unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgraden. Das heißt, für Anfänger ist in unserem Shop ebenso etwas dabei wie für Fortgeschrittene.

This is the second pattern I made for the new #taukomagazine . It`s the YVA skirt and in my story you already can see some beautiful makes ❤️. This skirt pattern is made for stretchy denim but of course you can use other elastic fabric. The skirt hast a quite narrow fit but with a long slit in the front to give you everyday comfort. You even can ride a bike wearing it 🚲.

This is MILA & SWANTJE - back @schnittchenpatterns . You can download both patterns as a bundle for the price of one.
Mila is an airy summer blouse with three-quarter sleeves and a neck yoke, with gentle gathers along the center front. Matching that, you also get the Swantje Pattern, a bell-shaped skirt that is designed with two dividing seams in the front and in the back. Also the skirt is delicately gathered at the center front.

What a beautiful "GATHERING" issue of @taukomagazine now ready to preorder. Finally I can share it and reveal the precious secret of AINA & YVA, two patterns I designed for TAUKO. AINA is a flattering blouse with short, capped sleeves and an assymmetrical yoke at the back. The front pieces are slightly ruffled and the buttons are concealed. YVA skirt is a close-fitting, but the slit at the front and the stretchy fabric allow you to move around freely.
