Shirt Kim – Free Download

Tonight at 8:15 p.m. finally starts at VOX “Geschickt Eingefädelt” the geman version of the successful BBC production “The Great British Sewing Bee” and its french follow-up “Cousu Main“. In six episodes 8 candidates are competing and a jury around Designer Guido Maria Kretschmer have to decide who sews best! All candidates have been indroduced during the last days at Swafing Blog.

To get you in the right mood for this and also as a little appetizer for the upcoming (end of next week!) schnittchen wintercollection I have a free download for you that is available now! Shirt Kim is a very easy to sew shirt with raw edges. You can sew Kim with felt (as we did) or other fabrics like leather, fakefur or heavy sweat – so to say all fabrics you don’t have to neaten and hem. If you use a fabric with some spandex you also can lengthen and turn Shirt Kim in a dress! Of course you can easily lengthen the sleeves too.

So have fun with this free download and – if you want to watch the german Sewing Bee – with “Geschickt Eingefädelt“!

Sewing Patterns Winter 2015

This is the second pattern I made for the new #taukomagazine . It`s the YVA skirt and in my story you already can see some beautiful makes ❤️. This skirt pattern is made for stretchy denim but of course you can use other elastic fabric. The skirt hast a quite narrow fit but with a long slit in the front to give you everyday comfort. You even can ride a bike wearing it 🚲.

This is the second pattern I made for the new #taukomagazine . It's the YVA skirt and in my story you already can see some beautiful makes ❤️.
